BCE Teacher of the Year

Each year, Spring Branch ISD (SBISD) celebrates excellence in education through its annual Teacher of the Year recognition program, honoring educators who inspire students, foster growth, and make a lasting difference in their school communities.

This year, campus staff, students, parents, and community members poured their appreciation into the process by submitting an incredible 3,217 nominations. In total, 1,110 individual SBISD educators were nominated for this prestigious recognition, reflecting the profound impact our teachers have across the district and throughout our community.

Congratulations to Buffalo Creek Elementary's Teacher of the Year, Narda Terrones!

Thank you for the dedication, compassion, and commitment you bring to Buffalo Creek Elementary each day.  Through your care, expertise, and belief in EveryChild, you help students discover their strengths, overcome challenges, and develop the character needed to thrive in school, life, and their community. Your ability to inspire a love of learning and encourage students to reach their full potential reflects the very heart of Buffalo Creek's mission.

Your impact extends far beyond your classroom, positively influencing students, families, colleagues, and the entire Buffalo Creek community. We are grateful for the difference you make each day and proud to celebrate this well-deserved recognition.

Thank you, Ms. Terrones, for your outstanding service to Buffalo Creek Elementary and for helping students grow into capable, confident learners prepared to make a positive impact in the world around them.
