What is third grade all about?

Third Grade is all about GROWING!!!  Our students are in a continuous process of growing and changing.  They started out as small, young saplings and now are maturing into big, sturdy trees.  They have roots of fundamental skills from their years in the lower grades and are now taking the big step into Third Grade.  They will begin to branch out as they participate in exciting, meaningful activities taught by a group of teachers that love their students.  We follow the Spring Branch Curriculum for all of our core content areas so that our students will become productive citizens that can make positive contributions to any group or situation.  As the year progresses, they will begin to produce fruit that will show they have mastered all the necessary skills and strategies to make them a fine, confident tree standing strong and ready for the future.
